Beds for Genet’s daughters
Genet, who came to Israel from Ethiopia at the age of 11, is raising seven children (ages 4-21) on her own. Two of her sons are currently serving in combat units in the IDF.
Genet, divorced, is a factory worker who does her best to support herself and her children. It certainly isn’t easy, especially because she doesn’t receive regular child support payments from her children’s father.
One of Genet’s most desperate needs right now are beds for her twin daughters; they are currently sleeping on unstable, broken beds. There is no doubt that new ones would allow them a good night’s sleep and greatly improve their quality of life.
