Beds for Efrat and Avi’s children
Efrat and Avi, both 30, are raising five young children (ages 4 months – 8 years old). They are incredibly devoted parents who try to meet all of their children’s physical and emotional needs.
It isn’t easy. Avi is currently unemployed and looking for work; Efrat is home on maternity leave.
To complicate matters, a number of the children have developmental issues and require therapy. The most severe case is the couple’s two-year-old, Yoav, who doesn’t speak or walk; he also suffers from vision problems. He is currently in therapy provided by the family’s health fund and by social services.
At the moment, Efrat and Avi’s most desperate need are two beds for their children. Their six-year-old is currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor; Yoav is sleeping in a broken crib that is too small for him.
A good night’s sleep is something every innocent young child deserves; the family needs our help.
