Beds for Batya’s children

Total Cost - USD 962
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 962

Batya and Noah have three young children, ages 2-8. Noah is violent and the couple does not communicate well; currently, they are separated. Batya, 30, was a teacher until the Corona virus closed schools, and she was laid off. Noah is unable to work because of emotional issues and receives a disability stipend from the government. This is now their only source of income. Noah gives Batya just over half of his monthly stipend, and with this she is trying to raise their three children.

Batya is as frugal and careful as possible, doing everything she can to avoid going into debt. Her two-year old is sleeping on a bed that is too small for him. His older sisters share a bed with a trundle that no longer pulls out. Batya would like a new pull-out bed which the two younger children can use, while the oldest stays in the current bed. Unfortunately, Batya does not have enough money to buy the bed that her children so badly need.
