Gadi, 32, is a single father to four-year-old Maya, who has been diagnosed with autism.
Until now, Gadi has supported himself and Maya on a monthly government stipend. Social services has also helped them in whatever ways they could. Recently, however, Gadi began a new job. He is determined to provide Maya with a stable future.
While Maya has her own bedroom in their apartment, she is currently sleeping on a bed that is too small for her. She complains about the discomfort and most nights ends up sleeping in Gadi’s bed.
Clearly, this is not a long-term solution. Gadi needs help buying a new bed for Maya so that both of them can get a decent night’s sleep.
