Anat, 34, is a single mother to three young children, ages 9-13. Her children’s father pays no child support and, at the moment, Anat is unemployed. She supports her family on a monthly government stipend.

Anat had a traumatic upbringing, and her relationship with her children’s father was unstable and volatile. She and her children are now in therapy through social services, and they attend their sessions diligently.

Needless to say, this family is in dire financial straits. Anat’s most desperate need right now is a new bed for her oldest daughter, Lital. The child has outgrown her bed and deserves a decent night’s sleep.
