Bed for Anya’s Daughter

Total Cost - USD 573
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 573

Anya, 18, lives with her mother, Olga, 58, and her daughter, Masha, 3. Anya tries to support her mother, and Olga does her best for Anya and Masha. Neither Masha nor Anya is in good health – both need regular medical treatment for ailments and both have faced frequent hospitalizations. Neither woman is able to hold a full-time job, although Anya recently took a part-time position as a town employee.

Masha currently sleeps in a baby bed, but she is tall for her age, making the bed too small. She cannot get a good night’s sleep, which is not healthy for her and makes things difficult for her mother and grandmother as well. An appropriately sized youth bed would make a real difference to all three of them, but money is too tight to allow them to buy it.
