Ronit, 51, and her son Bar, 16, live in horrendous conditions.

Both Ronit and Bar suffer from chronic illnesses. They live off a monthly government stipend and barely make ends meet.

The family of two lives in a tiny, cramped apartment. It is damp and moldy, and their furniture is old and broken.

Ronit’s most pressing need right now is an air-conditioning unit. The apartment is unbearably hot during the summer and freezing during the winter. Given Ronit and Bar’s medical conditions, they deserve whatever comfort they can get.
