Malka, 37, is going through a very rough time and needs our help.
Malka and her husband have three children, ages 3-14. In addition, they serve as foster parents for two of their nephews, ages 15 and 18.
To add to Malka’s hardships, she and her husband are currently in the midst of divorce proceedings; her mother recently died, as well.
Malka works as a cleaner but struggles to make ends meet. She and the children live in a small, cramped apartment on the top floor of a building. During the summer, the apartment is unbearably hot; in the winter, freezing.
There is no question that an air-conditioner/heating unit would go a long way towards improving the family’s quality of life as they try to move forward to a brighter future.
