A Bed for Michal
Aaron and Avital live in Bet Shemesh with their 10-year-old daughter, Michal. Avital, works tirelessly with two jobs as a cleaner while Aaron works full time as a forklift driver.
The family’s stability was abruptly disrupted six months ago when Aaron, suffered a severe back injury that rendered him immobile. Subsequent medical tests discovered that Aaron also had melanoma. His life was temporarily put on pause, with a month-long hospital stay dedicated to receiving a bone marrow transplant.
Prior to Aaron’s injury, both parents were diligently working overtime to manage their substantial debts and numerous financial obligations. Unfortunately, Avital had to reduce her working hours after the accident to care for her husband during this challenging time.
Right now the family’s most urgent need is for a new bed for Michal. Last year, her bed became infested with bed bugs and had to be thrown away. As a result, Michal has no proper place to sleep. Let’s come together to support Aaron, Avital, and help Michal finally get a good night’s sleep.
