Refrigerator for Yonit

Total Cost - USD 648
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 648

Yonit, 40, is trying her best to stand on her own two feet. Yonit and her husband divorced after she suffered years of verbal and emotional divorce. She is now raising three children, ages 11-18, on her own.

Yonit works as a cleaner and also receives a monthly government stipend. Her ex-husband, who is now remarried, pays monthly child support.

After suffering three miscarriages and two stillbirths, Yonit was diagnosed with anxiety disorder. She is being treated by a psychiatrist and is awaiting approval for emotional disability status.

To make matters more complicated, Yonit’s 11-year-old son suffers from hyperactivity and behavioral issues. He receives a monthly disability stipend.

Recently, Yonit was approved for a rent-subsidized apartment. She can’t move in yet, however, as she has no refrigerator. In the meantime, she and her children are living with her mother.

If Yonit could get help buying a refrigerator, she and her children could start rebuilding their lives.
