Course tuition for Shai

Shai, 19, had a difficult childhood but is determined to build a stable and independent future for himself. He deserves our help.

Shai and his two brothers grew up in an ultra-Orthodox home. Their father died a few years ago, and, since then, they have been raised by their mother.

Shai’s mom works full time but over the years, the family’s financial situation has deteriorated. Shai has always done his part by working and helping his mother cover expenses.

Shai’s situation is further complicated by the fact that he has suffered from a chronic health issue since birth. Despite his difficult circumstances, Shai graduated high school and planned on doing two more years of studies in order to gain a degree in Electronics.

Unfortunately, two years ago Shai’s medical condition worsened; he has since undergone numerous surgeries. He had to leave both his studies and his job in order to get back on his feet.

Shai is now participating in a social services program that helps at-risk youth build a solid plan for the future. He is due to enlist in the IDF shortly, where he will be in a day job. This will leave him time to work as well.

Before enlisting, Shai would like to take a locksmith course so that he can work a steady job and continue earning an income while in the army. Unfortunately, he cannot afford the course tuition.

There is no doubt that this course will serve Shai well in the years ahead. Shai is a determined, conscientious and diligent young man who deserves a brighter future.
With our help, he can dream of one.
