Liel, 35, is doing her best to stand on her own two feet. She has two children, ages 6 and 10, who are currently in foster care.

Liel is determined to build a stable future for herself and her children. She is now participating in a social services program that advises and mentors families who are struggling to find a way forward.

At the moment, Liel lives in a government-subsidized apartment and receives a monthly disability stipend. She has just begun taking college courses in order to build a solid career path.

In order to succeed in her studies, Liel desperately needs a computer. Until now, she has made do with her phone, but this is an untenable situation.
