Clothes dryer for Rosa

Two years ago, a fire broke out in Rosa’s apartment. Rosa was able to escape, with severely burned hands and lung damage from smoke inhalation. She was hospitalized and then in rehabilitation until very recently.

Rosa saved her infant daughter, but her mother died as a result of the fire. Because of her injuries and on-going rehabilitation, Rosa is currently unable to work, although she hopes to be able to do so in the future. In the meantime, she has only her limited disability stipend, which is quite low.

Rosa recently found a new apartment and been able to furnish it mostly with donations. As a result of her injuries, Rosa cannot spend time in the sun and has little use of her hands. Therefore she is unable to hang up her laundry and needs a dryer. No one has given her one and she cannot afford to purchase one for herself.
